Requirements for materials submitted for publication

The magazine "Path Navigator" is one of the leading publications for specialists in the field of road-bridge and transport construction, comprehensively covering the activities of the industry in Russia and around the world.

Ethical and copyright

By submitting an article to the magazine, the author confirms that it has not previously been published in the open press and is not under consideration in another publication. The author guarantees that the publication of the article in this form is approved by all authors and organization where the work was performed. After accepting the article, the author guarantees that it will not be published again in any language without the written consent of the publisher. The author confirms that he is acquainted and agrees with the ethical norms of the magazine and is ready to bear responsibility for their non-observance.

All articles, without exception, are published in open access on the website of the magazine, as well as in the Scientific Electronic Library of Russia. Texts, as well as metadata of articles (title, abstract, keywords, authors' data) are transferred to the Scientific Electronic Library of Russia.

In the "Path Navigator" published original, previously unpublished articles containing new scientific results obtained by the authors and of international scientific interest, on the topics:

  • Design and construction of roads, subways, airfields, bridges and transport tunnels
  • Construction mechanics

05.23.11 — Design and construction of roads, subways, airfields, bridges and transport tunnels.



The structure, content and language of articles

  • Articles, which can be accepted in Russian.
  • Do not use Cyrillic characters in figures, formulas, etc.
  • Do not use Cyrillic letters that are similar in spelling to Latin (y, K, E, H, x, X, A, p, P, o, O, s, C, m, M, T).
  • To highlight quotes, equipment names, businesses, etc. must use double quotes ("").
The following elements of the article are required:

  • Annotation, which formulates the relevance of the study and describes the object of study.
  • The list of references should include at least 10 sources, not counting hard-to-reach and regulatory sources, and links to Internet resources (other than periodicals). Sources must be relevant. All sources must be numbered in the sequence of references to them in the body of the article. References in the text should be formatted as a number in square brackets (for example, "as described by Petrov [9]."; ", As described in [9, 10].").
  • Purpose and objectives of the study.
  • Results, conclusion. It is recommended to present them in the form of tables, graphs and other illustrations. Conclusions should logically correspond to the tasks set at the beginning of the article.
  • Technical requirements for articles


Articles must be submitted in the .doc format (MS Word 2007−2016).

Recommended amount of articles: from 15,000 to 30,000 characters with spaces.

If there are sections in the article, their titles must be formatted in the "Heading" style.



Illustrations must be presented in separate graphic files (one picture — one file). Acceptable formats: JPEG, TIFF, BMP. You can insert illustrations into a text file to indicate the recommended place to use them.



Scientific review of articles

The review of all scientific articles is provided by the editors. The review is performed by reviewers invited by the editors.

The whole process of reviewing the article performs by the electronic edition system. The review is double-blind (the author and the reviewer do not know each other). If the article does not correspond to the magazine format or requirements, the article may be rejected by the editor without nominating a reviewer. The reason for rejection is necessarily indicated in the comments to the article.
